I started out with the Word Press "<a href="http://samk.ca/freebies/" rel="nofollow">pixel</a>" theme and then created my own style sheet and background images. I'm not a huge fan of the typography within "<a href="http://samk.ca/freebies/" rel="nofollow">pixel</a>" but it was a good starting point for a dark background and light text blog. I'm new to word press. My old blog was hosted at Stanford and I used Movable Type which is great for a coder like me. Wordpress is even better though, I have to say, because of all the widgets, themes, and security upgrades. I just started this blog up again so I'm not sure if there was a "fattaff" on my old blog or not. This is a digital media production blog, and thus, not about dental products. Sorry can't help you there. I use <a href="http://mediatemple.net/" rel="nofollow">Media Temple</a> and they have been really great with customer service and rock solid servers. They are a bit expensive, but worth it if you have the cash. If you want a free Wordpress blog, I'd go over to <a href="http://en.wordpress.com/signup/" rel="nofollow">Wordpress.org</a> and get a free account.
